Summer is almost here and that means lots of time spent outdoors.  One of the best places to kick back is on your very own deck.  If you’re thinking about adding a deck or updating your current space, there’s one big mistake you’ll want to avoid.

What’s the mistake?  Not fully planning the design.  In their excitement, homeowners begin work without fully thinking out the project.  This can lead to decks that are too large or too small or designs that aren’t functional for your needs.  You don’t want to get done building to realize there’s nowhere to put your oversize grill.
